Following news that Google and Walmart would partner to take on e-commerce giant Amazon, shares in Jeff Bezos' online retail company were down 0.97% in early trading on Wednesday. The new partnership will combine Walmart's massive retail operation with Google's online presence, allowing users to immediately order items from Walmart using the "Google Express" platform - the company's answer to Amazon's Prime.
